Co-Creation in the Region – Systemic and Innovative Development of Transfer (Co-Site)
Collaboratively addressing the challenges of today and tomorrow – that is the core objective of Co-Site. This project establishes an experimental space that brings together society, business, politics, and science in the form of a real-world laboratory. Co-Site facilitates participatory transfer processes, supporting the region in adapting to climate change.
Working hand-in-hand with the local community, we are dedicated to developing solutions for crafting adaptation strategies and planning critical and green-blue infrastructures. Through co-creative collaboration with regional partners, we actively contribute to social transformation.
Co-Site aims to:
- Support the development of regional adaptation strategies to climate change through the integrated planning of critical and green-blue infrastructures.
- Engage non-scientific partners throughout the entire knowledge generation process by designing a real-world laboratory.
- Foster scientific and social learning processes in the realms of co-creation and climate change by developing innovative education and teaching formats.
- Establish, test, and evaluate personnel, physical, and digital structures to create co-creative transfer processes.
- Contribute to the sustainable development of the region by forging connections among actors from science, civil society, business, and politics.
Together, we aim to shape change steering it towards a future built on sustainability and innovation.
The Co-Site research project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the "Innovative Hochschule" initiative.
