University Governance
TH Köln is led by a full-time Executive Board.
The President represents the university externally. The Executive Board is responsible for concluding the framework agreement with the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia and for target and performance agreements with the ministry as well as with the faculties and scientific institutions. It is also responsible for making decisions regarding the submission for the state budget plan, for the preparation, approval, and updating of structural and development plans, and for personnel and financial decisions at TH Köln.

Presidential Team
The Executive Board of TH Köln is supported by a Presidential Team.
The Presidential Team supports the Executive Board on an organizational, content-related and strategic level. Its tasks include the coordination and support of appointments, the supervision of central committees such as the University Council, Senate, Board of Trustees and Academic Advisory Board as well as the organization of committee elections. The team provides support in dealing with university policy and strategy issues, prepares decisions and supports the development and implementation of university-wide and future-oriented strategies and concepts.
