Smart Development
Development of a virtual assistant for semi-automated complexity control of the virtual product development under consideration of co-simulations and virtual functional safeguarding in the entire system environment.
The aim of the project is the development of a virtual intelligent design assistant using a realistic and immersive representation in virtual reality.
The objective is thus to minimize the development time during the product development process while at the same time achieving higher product goals.
Using methods of artificial intelligence, statistics, metamodeling and optimization, the classical design workstation is to be extended by an intelligent and knowledge-based decision platform.
This platform is able to autonomously and automatically generate solution proposals from previous designs and calculation results.
This development step is secured by the visualization of possible component variants in virtual reality. Optimization potentials and insufficient design packages can thus be identified at an early stage.
Furthermore, the parallelization of design, simulation and visualization provides the opportunity for interdisciplinary validation by the different departments of a company at an early stage.
