Design Consultant 4.0
The overall objective of the project is the development of an intelligent and holistic design tool for the product creation process in single-part production. This tool shall provide automated development support in the form of an intelligence-based design aid to safeguard costs, time and quality.

Contents and thus milestones of the project are, among others, the first implementation of an AI-based detection of design weaknesses, the implementation of a guided environment for the creation of designs and finally the consolidation of all objectives in one tool.
In this way, a targeted use of the newly available technologies in the product creation process is achieved in order to harmonize development, production and use and to meet the increasingly important batch size 1 in delivery time, quality and price.
