Henriette Reker, the Lord Mayor of the City of Cologne, invites all new international (PhD-)students to the Historisches Rathaus.
The reception begins on Friday, 11 October 2024 at 4 p.m. with an official welcome by the City of Cologne and the Cologne universities, followed directly by a "come together" in the atrium with information stands and a light snack. There, the international guests will have the opportunity to inform themselves at numerous stands - including the Immigration Office of the City of Cologne, ASten, international university groups, university communities, the Cologne Student Union - about the offers specifically for international students.
Right before the reception, we offer newcomers the chance to get to know Cologne better during a guided city tour (German or English).
