The UPV has been an established partner university of the TH Köln for many years. With around 37,000 students, it is one of the largest universities in Spain and spreads over several locations.

Program schedule
In order to obtain a double degree, you must successfully complete one semester of study at UPV at the Valencia Campus. Afterwards you have the possibility to write your master thesis either on site at UPV, in a company or at TH Köln.

Prerequisites and Application
At the time of application, you do not yet need ECTS. At the start of your stay abroad, you have to prove 30 ECTS. You will receive a detailed list of the required ECTS from the program coordinator Prof. Dr. Uwe Dettmar. In addition, you must prove language skills in English on the level of B2. We strongly recommend that you also acquire knowledge of Spanish at level A2.
Please contact Prof. Dr. Uwe Dettmar in good time for information about the application process. You must apply to him in writing by the end of April of each year at the latest.

Program Schedule
In order to obtain a double degree, you must successfully complete a semester of study at the UPM at Campus Sur in Madrid. You will then write your Master's thesis at TH Köln; jointly supervised by UPM and TH Köln.
Prerequisites and Application
You do not need ECTS at the time of application. You only need to provide proof of 30 ECTS when you start your stay abroad. You will receive a detailed list of the required ECTS credits from the program coordinator Prof. Dr. Uwe Dettmar. You must also provide proof of English language proficiency (B2). The courses at the UPM are held in English.
