On December 5, 2024, the first Round Table of the Ready, Study, Go business network took place at the premises of the Federal Employment Agency in Cologne. The goal of this new format is to provide companies and institutions with a platform for practical exchange on the integration of international professionals.

A Collaborative Exchange

After the welcome address by Stephanie Lewejohann (Managing Director, Federal Employment Agency), the Ready, Study, Go team gave an overview of the activities in 2024. Participants then engaged in an interactive Post-it session to identify key challenges related to the hiring of international talent, which were further addressed in the subsequent sessions.

Expert Insights & Working Groups

The event provided valuable insights into current issues:

  • Hiring international talent: Expert input & Q&A with the Foreigners' Registration Office of Cologne
  • Fostering a welcoming culture: Presentation by the Federal Employment Agency
  • Accessing international professionals through Ready, Study, Go: Introduction to project offerings and exchange of experiences

In two working groups, participants received practical insights and exchanged their own experiences and best practices.
