Faculty of Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems at the ENGAGEMENT WELTWEIT 2024 exhibition
The Faculty of Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems of TH Köln will once again be represented at this year's ENGAGEMENT WELTWEIT in Siegburg with an information stand on its international Master's degree programs in the field of technology and resource management.
ENGAGEMENT WELTWEIT, organized by AKLHÜ e.V. - Network and Center for International Personnel Cooperation, is the only exhibition in Germany on the topic of “Working in development cooperation!” It offers a platform to find out about activities in international development cooperation (DC).
Master's programs as ideal preparation
The Faculty's internationally oriented Master's degree programs provide graduates with the ideal preparation for a career in global development cooperation. Interdisciplinary and highly diversified, the content focuses on solving regional problems of sustainable development. Students learn to answer complex environmental and energy-related questions and to develop and apply management, economic, administrative and technical solutions as specialists after graduation. Cooperation with universities worldwide enables students to spend time abroad during their studies as well as globally oriented project work and theses.

Exciting supporting program
In addition to the exhibition stands of the more than 40 participating development cooperation organizations and institutions, ENGAGEMENT WELTWEIT also offers an extensive supporting programme. This year, the focus is on the topic of “Dealing with coloniality in International Personnel Cooperation (IPC)”. General qualifications and requirements for working in development cooperation will also be discussed.
