This two-hour webinar will feature two esteemed speakers:
- Prof. Gamal M. Abdo: Director of the Water Research Center and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Khartoum, Sudan. Prof. Gamal M.Abdo will give a presentation on “Flash Flood Management Issues in Wadi Systems in Sudan: Case Study of Gash Wadi, Kassala, in Eastern Sudan.”
- Prof. Mohammed Basheer: Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada. Prof. Basheer will give a presentation on “Sudan’s Armed Conflict: Current Situation and Impact on Economy and Water Resources.”
Each presentation will last approximately 25 minutes, followed by a Q&A session. We will also provide updates on the latest advancements of the ENRUC project and discuss the establishment of our ENRUC network.
