For us as a faculty, your practical experience is immensely valuable because you can share innovative ideas, knowledge and experience from a user perspective. From this, we can derive the needs of the labor market and important impulses for the development of teaching and research.

As alumni, you are part of networks that can make it easier for our students to start their careers. We see you as a bridge to the private sector, as a partner in cooperation projects, as an actor in collaboration in real-world laboratories and co-creation processes and as a source of ideas and contact for student projects and internships.

How you benefit from our alumni network

Conversely, you will of course also benefit from your contact with your former faculty. We would like to continue to accompany and support you as alumni after graduation.

Our alumni network now has over 1200 members from around 65 countries. As an alumni, you benefit from this network. Many of our former students act as advisors or experts or become multipliers of our work as project partners.

Summer Schools & Seminars

The alumni summer schools and seminars, which take place almost every year, are an integral part of our offer for our alumni. You can also take part in academic conferences and other knowledge transfer formats organized by the faculty. You can meet former fellow students, attend further education and training courses and contribute to mutual interdisciplinary and international exchange on specialist and/or regional topics. The initiative for these events often comes from our alumni themselves. Your suggestions are also always very welcome.
