Postdoc Network Meeting on May 2, 2023
On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, Prof. Dr. Stefan Herzig, President of TH Köln, and Prof. Dr. Klaus Becker, Vice President for Research and Knowledge Transfer invited all postdocs to the 1st Postdoc Networking Event at TH Köln.
The on-site event provided the opportunity for exchange with the university management and individual networking of postdocs at TH Köln as well as the space for discussion of the diverse, individual needs of postdocs at TH Köln. After a warm welcome by Prof. Dr. Stefan Herzig and Prof. Dr. Klaus Becker, the participants had the opportunity to network and get to know each other over lunch before the Executive Board gave an overview of current developments regarding the topic of " Postdocs" on a national as well as EU level. The subsequent self-positioning of the participating postdocs in the career phase illustrated the diversity in this status group at TH Köln. In a World Café, the various needs of the postdocs in the categories "Competencies & Qualification", "Networking & Collaboration" and "Framework & Support" were discussed, debated and evaluated.
The next informal networking event will take place during Postdoc Appreciation Week (PAW) 2023:
Postdoc Lunch 11:30-12:30 on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 in the Claudiusstrasse Senate Room (South City Campus). All postdocs are cordially invited.
