Personal Reception with the President's Office for 2023 Doctoral Graduates
On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, President of TH Köln, Prof. Dr. Stefan Herzig, and Vice President for Research and Knowledge Transfer, Prof. Dr. Klaus Becker, invited all 2023 doctoral graduates and their supervisors to a personal reception in the Senate Hall of TH Köln.
Prof. Herzig welcomed the attendees for the first time again in presence after several years in which the reception was held virtually and congratulated them on their achievements. Prof. Becker emphasized in particular the important work of the supervisors and gave an outlook on the expected increase in the number of doctoral researchers at TH Köln, also due to the new possibility of doctoral studies with Graduate School for Applied Research in North Rhine-Westphalia (PK NRW).
The doctoral graduates presented their doctoral topics and further career paths to the audience, which reflected the diversity of research topics at TH Köln and led to lively discussions afterwards.
