InCITIES: Trailblazing inclusive, sustaible and resilient cities
Success for TH Köln: TH Köln is member in the newly funded project “InCITIES: Trailblazing inclusive, sustainable and resilient cities” (Call: HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-05 (European Excellence Initiative (EEI): Strengthening capacity for excellence in higher education institutions and surrounding ecosystems).
This consortium includes the PIONEER partner universities Université Gustave Eiffel (FR), Laurea University of Applied Sciences (FI). University of Zilina (SK) and ICTE university Institute Lisbon (PT).
InCITIES is a three year project (October 2022 – September 2025) funded by the European Union that aims to achieve the transformations of HEIs and their surrounding ecosystem centred around cities’ needs related to inclusion, sustainability, and resilience. It addresses the challenges of cities with a specific focus on widening countries (Portugal and Slovakia), allowing them to overcome structural, sociocultural, economic, political, and institutional barriers.
