Landkarte mit Pins (Image: TH Köln)

Establishing and strengthening long-term and sustainable partnerships with strategically selected international universities is an important objective of the faculty’s internationalization strategy. Therefore, the faculty offers different exchange programs in collaboration with it’s partner institutions in Europe and worldwide.

The Faculty of Automotive Systems and Production maintains partnerships with universities in Europe and worldwide, which are carried out within the framework of various exchange funding programs. On the one hand, stays abroad can be completed and funded through Erasmus+, and on the other hand, the faculty is a member of the German University Consortium for International Cooperation (DHIK), which supports study and internship semesters at selected universities in the countries of China, India and Mexico.

In addition to the faculty partnerships, TH Köln also maintains university-wide cooperations that are open to all faculties.

Erasmus+

Erasmus is the world's largest scholarship and exchange program at university level and one of the European Union's great success stories. Erasmus has been promoting the cross-border mobility of students, university lecturers and university staff within Europe since 1987.

Stays abroad have become an important and meaningful part of any study program and can serve as a good preparation for working in internationally active companies. You have the opportunity to enrich your own curriculum vitae with international experience during your studies. Besides broadening your language skills, social as well as cultural competences, you will benefit from the different academic system and get to know other teaching and learning methods.
