Institute of Physics

The Institute of Physics at TH Köln is an interdisciplinary scientific institution of the faculties of Information, Media and Electrical Engineering, Automotive Systems and Production as well as Process Engineering, Energy and Mechanical Systems. It provides the necessary know-how for the education in Physics. However, the focus and scope of the studies are left to the respective faculty.

Focus of the Institute

The Institute performs tasks in teaching and research in the field of Physics as a service to the faculties.
It provides a collection of demonstration experiments for the lectures in experimental and applied Physics.
The Institute is particularly responsible for the provision, maintenance and further development of the Physics internship together with the responsible professors of the faculties.
