CIM Laboratory
The CIM laboratory has 15 workstations. In addition, there are printers, burners and scanners available to students. At present, 3 internships of the study courses "Production and Logistics" and "Logistics" are being carried out in the laboratory.
CAD - practical module/internship
Students are taught the basics of Computer Aided Design in the CAD compulsory practical module: The software used is NX from Siemens. In the practical module, students learn about the software and some of the basic functions and model several individual parts according to technical drawings. The individual components are then assembled to form a mobile assembly.
SAP - practical module/internship
The aim of the practical modules is the hands-on application of the theoretical principles of production planning and controlling. During the SAP practical modules, students acquire knowledge of the core functionalities of the MM, PP, SD, CO and PS components with the help of the SAP ERP standard application software by performing selected business processes online in the system.
In addition, presentations of bachelor and project work take place in the laboratory.
