Alumni of the Faculty of Automotive Systems and Production

On 12 May 2000, former and active students, professors and employees of the faculty founded the Association of Former Students and Friends of the Institute of Automotive Engineering of TH Köln (Verein der Ehemaligen und Freunde des Institutes für Fahrzeugtechnik der Technischen Hochschule Köln e.V.) in the rotunda of the old University of Cologne. The association is registered in the register of the Local Court of Cologne as a non-profit organization. Its objectives and tasks laid down in the articles of the association's objectives and tasks are:

• Promotion of the alumni's sense of togetherness with the students, the professors and staff of the department
• Maintaining contacts and exchanging experiences
• Support in the procurement of practical semester and thesis positions
• Support of our graduates in finding a job
• Encouragement and funding of research projects in the field of automotive engineering

Becoming a member is easy and informal.

Former students, but also (former) professors and lecturers who would like to stay in contact with the association can become members. This will keep you up to date with the latest developments in the Institute of Automotive Engineering and the degree programs.

We also offer various networking opportunities, for example at our entertaining annual events or in our mentoring program.

The annual fee is 15 Euros, if you do not want to give us a direct debit authorization, you can also transfer the amount to our bank account.

The contribution is due at the beginning of each year. Should you become a member in the current year, please also transfer the total amount of 15 Euros. If you join the association in November/December, no annual subscription is due for the current year.
