In one of Germany’s most popular cities, we provide the social infrastructure for morethan 83.000 students at 7 different universities in Cologne. This work requires flexibility, dynamics and commitment. The Kölner Studierendenwerk and its 570 employees work with heart, hand and mind to make students‘ life easier – regarding financing, housing,counseling and food service in our canteens, bistros and coffee bars.
Students of all progams, ages, backgrounds, faiths (or none) are welcome at the Hochschulgemeinden. These religious student organizations are a place to meet and offer a variety of activities throughout the semester.
Wohnen für Hilfe arranges partnerships between students who are looking for housing and people who are looking for support in their everyday life. Instead of paying rent, students assist their housing provider with everyday tasks.
Kölncampus is radio channel by students for students, with student topics and music beyond the mainstream. For those who want to contribute but have no experience yet, Kölncampus also offers radio journalism training.
