The better an idea you have about how universities in Germany work, the less likely you will run into situations that are unclear or frustrating. Knowing about cultural differences will help you adapt faster to life in Germany inside and outside the university. We will discuss topics such as direct communication, self-initiative, interaction between professors and students and the role of rules.
