Manually labeling large data sets or extracting information from unstructured data is a laborious and time-consuming task.
Due to this, it is essential to develop approaches that offer possibilities to annotate data, especially when domain expertise is required.
It is essential to develop systems that relieve users of repetitive and error-prone work. Furthermore, these systems must be user-friendly and relieve the user of work by catching typical use cases through defaults.
This Proposal investigates how the process of information extraction can be structured without excluding a broad group of users who cannot define complex extraction rules themselves.
