The cooperation project FDM@Studium.nrw aims to create reusable materials for research data management (FDM) in teaching, which can be used across disciplines to promote FDM competences in Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes. The materials will be developed in the sub-projects of the participating universities as Open Educational Resources (OER) in the form of self-learning and teaching courses on the basis of and as a supplement to existing approaches from the fields of data literacy and FDM. Together, suitable modules from the topic area of "subsequent use of research data", in particular research, processing, analysis, archiving and publication, are selected from these courses and linked in a joint self-learning course. Finally, all courses will be made available via the state portal ORCA.nrw for subsequent use in courses and as self-learning units.
Building on the Data Literacy basic module to promote data literacy, TH Köln will develop a supplementary basic course on research data management (FDM) that will teach both generic skills and practical application scenarios.
