Digitalkompetenz.nrw
Digital check for institutions of higher education
The ongoing digitalisation presents society with constantly changing requirements. Institutions of higher education must also enable their members (students, researchers, teaching and administrative staff) to successfully meet the new requirements for studying and working life. For this purpose, the #Digitalkompetenz.nrw project is developing a web platform to promote relevant digital skills. It is based on the #DigitalCheck.nrw and offers university members a web presence to identify, evaluate and further develop their digital skills in a targeted manner. The focus here is on the digital skills areas that are of particular importance for members of universities. These include data and AI skills, as well as digital communication and collaboration skills.
Three core modules are offered:
- a self-assessment tool to evaluate your own skills profile,
- A catalogue providing a comprehensive overview of information, education and training opportunities in the field of digital key competencies, and
- a pathfinder that links the results of the self-assessment with the catalogue offers and serves as a targeted recommendation system.
